Affordable Housing Developments Win at the PCBC

Century is always proud to see affordable housing developers receive recognition for the fine work they do, and last week’s Pacific Coast Builders Conference Golden Nugget Awards was another example of the levels of excellence affordable housing developments have achieved.  Many of this year’s Golden Nugget Award winners have been Century partners and clients, and we join with PCBC in congratulating them all for their contributions to their communities.

Affirmed Housing received the Grand Award in the Affordable Housing 15-30 du/acre category for Riverwalk in the Nestor community of San Diego, designed by Studio E Architects and Darsono Design.

 

 

Mercy Housing shared the Grand Award for Residential Project of the Year–Attached Product in an Urban Setting and an Affordable Housing over 30 du/acre Award of Merit with Community Housing Partnership for the Drs. Julian and Raye Richardson Apartments in San Francisco, designed by David Baker + Partners and Baker Vilar Architects.

Menorah Housing Foundation received the Grand Award for Seniors Housing Community–Age Qualified Affordable for the Pico Veteran Senior Housing–Zev Yaroslavsky Apartments in Los Angeles, designed by Val Tilburg, Banvard & Soderbergh, AIA.

 

BRIDGE Housing received the Grand Award for Multigenerational Concepts for Armstrong Place Senior and Family Housing in San Francisco, designed by David Baker + Partners, Full Circle Architecture and TSH International Architecture and Design.

 

St. Joseph’s Senior Apartments in Oakland, designed by Van Meter Williams Pollack was a multiple winner for BRIDGE Housing, receiving an Award of Merit in three categories: Adaptive Re-Use Project, Multigenerational Concepts-Detached, and Seniors Housing Community–Age Qualified Affordable.

BRIDGE Housing also received an On-the-Boards Mixed Use Project Award of Merit for 9th & Broadway in San Diego, designed by Studio E Architects and MVE Institutional.

Eden Housing received the Grand Award for Senior Housing Community–On-the-Boards for Orinda Seniors in Orinda, designed by Dahlin Group Architecture Planning.

Eden also shared an Award of Merit for On-the-Board Site Plan with the City of Richmond for the Miraflores Housing Development, designed by Gonzales Architects, Winslow Architecture and HKIT Architects.

Jamboree Housing received two Awards of Merit in the Affordable Housing 15-30 du/acre category for Doria in Irvine and Bonterra in Brea, designed by KTGY Group.

Courier Place in Claremont, designed by William Hezmalhalch Architects, received multiple Awards of Merit in the Multifamily Housing Project 15-30 du/acre and the Multigenerational Concepts-Detached categories for Jamboree.

Thomas Safran & Associates received a Mixed Use Project Award of Merit for The Gateway at City Center in Carson, designed by Withee Malcolm Architects.

Related California received two Renovated of Restored Residential Project Awards of Merit, for Marcus Garvey in San Francisco, designed by Gelfand Partners Architects, and Olive Street in Los Angeles, designed by Musser Architects and Killefer Flammang Architects.

Related also shared an Affordable Housing over 30 du/acre Award of Merit with PATH Ventures for LaKretz/Juanita in Los Angeles, designed by Killefer Flammang Architects.

Related also received a Seniors Housing Community–Age Qualified Affordable Award of Merit for City Center in Ontario, designed by Withee Malcolm Architects.

NMS Properties received an Affordable Housing over 30 du/acre Award of Merit for Luxe@Broadway in Santa Monica, also designed by Killefer Flammang Architects.

San Diego Interfaith Housing Foundation received Awards of Merit in both the Multifamily Housing 30-50 du/acre and the Infill, Redevelopment or Rehab Site Plan–up to 5 acres, for 450 Orange in Coronado, designed by Rodriguez Associates Architects & Planners.

San Diego Interfaith Housing Foundation also received a Residential Project of the Year–Attached Product within a Suburban Setting Award of Merit for Brighton Place in Poway, designed by Rodriguez Associates Architects & Planners.

The Coachella Valley Housing Coalition received an On-the-Boards Multifamily Community Aware of Merit for the Fred Young Farm Worker Apartments in Indio, designed by John Cotton Architects.

ABHOW and Satellite Housing shared a Seniors Housing Community–Age Qualified Affordable Award of Merit for Valley Vista Senior Community in San Ramon, designed by HKIT Architects.

ROEM Builders also received a Seniors Housing Community–Age Qualified Affordable Award of Merit for Dana Strand in Los Angeles, designed by KTGY Group.

Meta Housing received a Senior Housing Community–On-the-Boards for Figueroa Senior Housing in Los Angeles, designed by John Cotton Architects

LINC Housing was honored with Judges Special Award of Excellence for SEASONS at Compton, designed by Nardi Associates.
