Inglewood, CA Century Housing, one of California's largest affordable housing lenders, announces the awarding of a $10,000 grant from the Ethics and Excellence In Journalism Foundation to the Century Community Charter School in Inglewood. The funds will be used to produce a school yearbook, school newspaper, and newsletter. “As we work to replicate and expand our Charter School’s success, this grant could not have come at a better time,” said G. Allan Kingston, President and CEO of Century Housing and Chairman of the Charter School. “Maintaining communication between parents and students is vital to providing a quality education to children. This generous grant from the Ethics and Excellence In Journalism Foundation will fund a yearbook and school newspaper, which will help students celebrate and document their educational experience, and a newsletter, which will inform parents about school life,” Kingston said. The Century Community Charter School operates under a charter from the Lennox School District.
